Located in DC Ranch Marketplace is one of Scottsdale's newest restaurant concepts – Beauregard Food Co. With a name like that, one wonders what type of restaurant it could be. Well, as the owner likes to say and as the sign reads…"it's a southern thing." The menu has a Cajun flare and is quickly becoming known for its daily specials ranging from gumbo to shrimp and crawfish cheesecake. Everyday menu items include appetizers such as fried pickles and Cajun-influenced wraps, pizzas and pasta. One of the desserts is bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme doughnuts thanks to restaurant owner Dan Brinton's Krispy Kreme shop right next store! Plus, with a kids (a.k.a. Mud Bugs) menu featuring five items and games that are stamped onto the white paper tablecloths, it's definitely fitting for the whole family. Beauregard Food Co. is open Sunday - Thursday
